Christmas Jumper Day

Wear your Christmas Jumper and raise funds for Calderdale SmartMove.

On Friday 20th December, wear your favourite festive jumper to work and raise valuable funds for Calderdale SmartMove! 

This is a community focused event and we'll be going round to visit those taking part and choosing our favourite jumper to win a special prize.

Pamperthon

12 hours of hair and beauty treatments from industry leading experts!

Hairdresser John Peers, celebrity stylist and twice British Hairdresser of the Year, has teamed up with us here at Calderdale SmartMove to bring you the first ever Pamperthon - 12 hours of hair and beauty treatments all to raise funds for the homeless and vulnerable of Calderdale. 

The event will take place on the ground floor of Lloyds Banking Group Head Office, Trinity Road, but is open to the general public as well as Lloyds staff members. 

We have some of the industry's leading stylists taking part including:

Simon Shaw - European Artistic Director for Wahl

Jon Claxton - Twice Finalist, Northern Hairdresser of the Year

Joseph Lanzante - International Barber & Shaving Expert

Ashley 'Scissorhands' Howard - Industry Leading Scissor Expert

We'll also have exclusive gift hampers available to buy, just in time for Christmas!

Walking into the New Year

A joint event with Unmasked Mental Health.

'Walking into the New Year' is the perfect way to clear away the Christmas Cobwebs. We'll be meeting at 10:00am outside Todmorden Group Practice and walking to Sowerby Bridge, finishing off at the Moorings Pub for hot food and Drinks. 

Any funds raised will be split between the two charities, although this event is more about bringing people together at a time which is often difficult for those who are either lonely, or struggling with mental health difficulties.
