Peter Cawdron
I became a Trustee of Calderdale Smartmove in 2018 and took over as Treasurer in 2019. I have been retired since 2018, following a career in banking, insurance and the Civil Service. As well as being involved with Smartmove, I am also a Trustee of Focus4Hope in Brighouse and also volunteers with St Augustine’s.
Ken Lockett - Chairman
I have vast experience with 36 years service in a senior banking role. My expertise included Staff Management, Income and Expenditure, Responsibility and Risk Management. Within Calderdale SmartMove I have previously covered many roles before becoming a Trustee.
Tracy Smith
Although now semi-retired, I have worked for many years in both education and retail. As a Community Champion in a previous role, I engaged with a range of charities, schools and community organisations, promoting and supporting local charitable & community events. Within voluntary roles throughout my life, I have worked in a variety of settings, with both children & adults. I have enjoyed being a Trustee of Calderdale SmartMove since 2018.
Joanne Lewis
I started my journey with SmartMove a number of years ago by being their community contact for my previous employer. I still enjoy volunteering weekly with the team doing a variety of tasks & events. I’m also a Mental Health first Aider and advocate of supporting mental health awareness. I look forward to being able to use my skills and background of over 20 years in operations and management as part of the team that takes our charity from strength to strength.
Rupert Cooke
I have been working in the creative industry for 30 years as a graphic designer, filmmaker and more recently an animator. I have worked in London, Manchester, Leeds and now Halifax for some of the biggest and smallest creative agencies in the world. I have been working for myself since 2015 and became involved with Smartmove due to my involvement with a local Rotary group and our work with homeless people. I became a trustee with Smartmove in 2022.
